Since 1969, our facility has been a staple for the Village of Athens
 
Our facility boasts two pools and a small snack bar
 
All our Lifeguards are Red Cross certified
 
The “Big Pool” is about 25 yds long and runs from 3 ft – 10 ft deep with a diving board
 
 
The “Kiddie/Little Pool” is 1 ft – 3 ft deep
 
The Kiddie Pool is not actively guarded – parents MUST be inside the gated area. For the safety of our members and guests, children over 8 yrs of age are not allowed in the Kiddie Pool
 
Life jackets, floats, goggles that cover the nose, snorkel masks, nose plugs, flippers, water shoes, beach/hand/foot balls, and noodles are strictly forbidden in the big pool
 
Guests are permitted to use the Pool for a Daily fee. Guest passes are LIMITED TO 5 VISITS PER SEASON. Guest occupancy may be limited
 
The Pool hours are 12-7 everyday, weather permitting
 
Wednesday is Members Only Day
 
Lap Swim 11-12 everyday (with exceptions due to recreation programs and weather)
 
Season runs from the last Saturday in June thru Labor Day
This is a Membership Pool, open to all including those in other communities

Pool Code of Conduct

  1. Only Members and their guest are permitted to use the swimming pools
  2. All Members must sign in before entering the dressing room or pool area
  3. No child under 9 years of age will be permitted to the pool area unless accompanied by a person of 18 years or older
  4. Parents are responsible for the supervision of their children and guests, including understanding and abiding by the Pool Rules and Regulations.
  5. Gates must remain closed at all times
  6. Climbing fences is prohibited
  7. All guests must register with the cashier, members are responsible for their guests
  8. Rest rooms are to be used, not the pool
  9. All members and their guests are required to shower before entering the pool for the first time each day
  10. Members and their guest are not to leave articles of clothing, clothing bags, paper bags, or shoes laying around the dressing rooms or pool deck.  Please keep your items in a location out of the way
  11. No flips or back dives off of pool coping
  12. No one allowed in pool unless there is a lifeguard on duty
  13. Only one person on the diving board at a time
  14. Persons wearing bandages or having open wounds are not allowed in the pool
  15. All accidents minor or serious must be reported immediately to the lifeguard or cashier.  A basic first aid kit is available, as well as an emergency phone in the snack bar
  16. All containers used for drinking or eating must be made from unbreakable material
  17. ABSOLUTELY NO ALCOHOL PERMITTED ON PREMISES
  18. No foul language
  19. Absolutely no smoking or vaping allowed anywhere other than parking lot.  Violators may be subject to membership suspension
  20. No running on pool deck
  21. No horseplay, pushing, or dunking
  22. No street clothes allowed in pools
  23. All children yet to be toilet trained are to wear appropriately sized swim diaper
